By Road
From Calais it takes about 9 hrs to drive. The quickest route is the A20 motorway via Limoges. Take Exit 56 (50km south of Brive-la-Gaillarde) signposted for Figeac (D802) to Figeac centre and then the D922 south to Villefranche de Rouergue. In Villefranche follow signs for Albi and Najac (D922). La Fouillade is just after the turning for Najac.
Once in La Fouillade, turn off D922 and follow the signs that take you through the commercial centre of the village. On leaving the village turn right at the first crossroads taking the D69 towards Bor et Bar. We are about one mile from this junction just before the bottom of the hill on the right. Access to the gîte carpark is via the gate just behind the house.
From Toulouse take the motorway towards Albi and leave it at junction 9 for Gaillac then take the D922 via Cordes-sur-Ciel to La Fouillade. From La Fouillade, follow directions as above.
From Rodez turn right out of airport towards Rodez, stay on the ring road and follow signs to Albi then to Villefranche de Rouergue. About 5km after Rieuperoux there is a left turn signposted to Najac. Turn left again at T-junction onto D922 and continue to La Fouillade. Follow directions as above.

By Rail
The nearest station is Najac 8km away. There are several trains daily to/from Toulouse, the journey takes about 1.5 hours and costs £8. For further information try www.voyages-sncf.com (available in English)
